Q2: Strides of a giant
A review of audacious faith
Quarterly reviews like this piece have been beneficial for me in my journey, positioning myself where I need to go and being appreciative for where I’m coming from. There is so much to be thankful for in the last six months.
I made a commitment to authentic living at the beginning of the year, and I can state with assurance that I’m living it. Has it been a soft life?
No!
But it has improved me as a person. I did well in the second quarter. “Goodness of God” is the tag for this first quarter.
In contrast to my last review of quarter 1, I will review based on my engagement, wins, and fails (although I don’t considered them as such). There is always something to learn from my experience.
A lot happened last quarter but I’m only permitted to talk about a few. Like my friend will say “I don’t want to jinx things”
Making Wealth Creators
I hosted my much awaited wealth creators workshop. More than 100 people registered, and since then, more replays have been downloaded. This course presented me with numerous challenges. But I’m glad I did it because it taught me to cherish my audience and to rely not only on my abilities and knowledge, but also on God.
The feedback from the course was impressive, and I loved that my little knowledge had helped others make proper financial decisions.
Short-listed Candidate
I was shortlisted for a program but was not accepted. I was disappointed for a while. This took a toe on me because I had cast my last hope on it.
Not getting into the program made me feel like some of the visions that the Lord had shown me would never come to pass. Disappointed, I turned to the Holy Spirit.
I started to feel better as the Holy Spirit started to heal me. I became more and more immersed in the language of Spirit, which is renewing and invigorating. He reassured me, He will do it in His time and in His way.
He said
“You cannot comprehend what I have in store for you. I have good plans for you. You just need to serve me and build your faith in me”
Encouragement from the Lord are times of refreshing for me.
I quit an international program.
I was in a program that I was doing to be a part of a network of people who did it and to advance my profession, but it wasn’t pleasurable for me, and it felt like I was forcing myself.
Midway through, I halted and shifted my attention to courses that would enhance my skills, particularly those that I was already able to monetize. I’m grateful for the detour. It has relieved all the tension from my personal work.
New investment
I recently made a new investment. And this time, I don’t just mean investing money; I also mean investing in learning new skills, books, money clubs, work equipment, and even clothing (I’ve already discussed why this is vital)
I spent some time with my friends
I wrote an entire story to tell on my short- trip to Lekki Conservation Center. Seeing my distant friends again after a lengthy absence was therapeutic — I advise it. I cherished the excitement of that moment, the laughs we shared, and the thrill of the moment. I intend to do it more frequently in the future.
Started a new business for Jesus.
My Christian prophetic merchandising shirt went on pre-sale. It was a brave move because God had given this command in 2019, but it took this long due of my strong head (spoken with a Nigerian accent) and skepticism.
Although turnout was initially minimal, I’m proud of how far my obedience has brought me. The objective of my brand is that these shirts encourage individuals to be open about their faith and initiate Christian conversations in their communities. It’s been a remarkable experience. It’s very unlike to my digital products.
In this short period i’ve learned about the complexities of running a business; I have to deal with delivery, pricing, and matching supply to demand. The timing of this is perfect, and I’m thankful for that.
I finished reading ‘The Man that God uses’
This book has helped me in my spiritual journey. I learned how to serve God more effectively and how to strengthen my bond with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have spread the word about this book to anyone who would listen. It really renewed my spirit man. I highly recommend.
I hope this review was helpful.
A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], But the LORD directs his steps and establishes them.
Proverbs 16:9 (AMP)
