God is not slow
2024 is not over, don’t give up.
It’s 50 days to the end of 2024! For some, this is when they start packing up their 2024 goals into the back truck of 2025. For them anything they couldn’t achieve between January to October is unattainable for the rest of the year.
This is a facade because this same thing will occur in 2025. Individuals will get to a certain month again & postpone their goals — a never ending cycle. I’ve been there. For me, the turning point was a mindset shift. In 2021, after studying the habits of high achievers, I noticed something: they didn’t just set goals — they built systems around them. Sure, we’ve all heard about “building systems,” but it’s rare to see it in action.
Knowledge becomes powerful when applied. Once I understood this, I began weaving systems into every goal and project. And the results were transformative.
Here’s My Approach: Simple, but Life-Changing
Every year, I start with my goals listed in my journal. For each goal, I set up an action plan with two key parts: Daily Actions + Time Frame.
Goals = Daily Action + Time Frame
For example, when I wanted to start a business in 2023, I saved 50% of my income for four months. By the fifth month, I was making my first sales! Today, that business just turned a year old.
Another major goal this year was to build my digital footprint as a financial educator. So, I committed to LinkedIn, posting 4–5 times a week, reading finance books, watching videos, taking courses, and learning from mentors. Ten months in, here’s what happened:
- Landed my first paid 1:1 investment consulting gig
- Joined Forbes BLK
- Grew from 400 to 2,000 followers with over 120,000 impressions
- Became a keynote speaker at the Global Finance Summit in the Philippines
- Sold my digital courses and helped 50+ people start investing
- And soon, I’ll be empowering 50 professionals on wealth creation!
This post isn’t just about my wins (trust me, I keep a lot of good news private), but I’ve seen how sharing my journey can inspire others.
If You’re Reading This, Here’s Your Reminder:
- Build a system around your goals.
- Go after the goals you wrote down for this year — yes, there’s still time!
- Remind yourself daily what the word of God says about you (e.g., “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”).
Even if you don’t hit every goal, you’ll be so much further than if you hadn’t tried. And when opportunities come around again, you’ll know exactly what works and what doesn’t. Building a system means you might even attract opportunities you never set out for.
I hope my story encourages you, and I’d love to hear your own victories before this year ends. Much love.
